The Global Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) was launched in May 2018. The goal of GDPR is to give European citizens more control over their data. While created in Europe, it impacts all sites that have ANY European visitors. What does this mean to you? Failure to comply with GDPR can result in a fine ranging from 10 million dollars to four percent of the company’s annual global turnover. This is a serious fine.
